About Center Grove Boys Basketball

We are happy to welcome all players, parents and coaches to the Center Grove Boys Basketball League (CGBBL). CGHS Head coach Zach Hahn has had a successful first few years at the helm leading the high school program and has been meeting regularly with the Center Grove Basketball Board of Directors.  He brings great energy and enthusiasm to the program. One of his primary stated goals is to "create and maintain one of the best youth basketball organizations in the state of Indiana".

After consulting with some of the top coaches throughout the state, Coach Hahn & the CGBBL Board of Directors made the decision in 2014 to bring the travel and rec programs together under the CGBBL umbrella. To that end, the Board of Directors created two divisions -- the Hoops Division (travel program) and the Trojan Division (formerly the rec program). The Trojan Division will be largely unchanged from the recreational program you have known previously. More details on the new Hoops Division is contained in the document linked here

We are hopeful that this will be an exciting and rewarding season. Our goal is to develop well-rounded young men who learn not only the fundamentals of basketball but also some lessons that may apply to life beyond basketball. Our key to our success is that we focus on the “FUNdamentals” of the game through education, sportsmanship and teamwork. We feel we can deliver this only because of our outstanding volunteer coaches and directors. By building on this foundation, we hope that every young man achieves their potential, has fun, and develops a love of the game of basketball.
